Application Scope Of Stainless Steel Reactors

Stainless steel reaction vessels are pressure vessels widely used in the chemical, food, coating, hot-melt adhesive, silicone, paint, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries for processes such as reaction, evaporation, synthesis, polymerization, saponification, sulfonation, chlorination, and nitration. Examples include reactors, reaction kettles, decomposition vessels, and polymerization kettles. The vessel primarily consists of four main components: the inner tank, the jacket, the agitation system, and the support structure (insulation can be added based on process requirements).

The inner tank is fabricated from stainless steel (such as SUS304, SUS316L, or SUS321) according to process needs; the interior surface is mirror-polished and supports online CIP cleaning and SIP sterilization, complying with sanitary standards.

The jacket is constructed from stainless steel (SUS304) or carbon steel (Q235-B), depending on process requirements.

The vessel features an optimized diameter-to-height ratio and a custom-designed agitation system. The agitator shaft utilizes a pressure-resistant, sanitary mechanical seal to maintain internal operating pressure and prevent material leakage, thereby avoiding unnecessary contamination and product loss.

Support configurations include either suspended lugs or floor-mounted legs, depending on operational requirements.
